New Gardener

Hello all,
my names Adam and i recently moved house down to Swansea. I have not gardened before, i now have a small front lawn, nice sized back lawn, a long raised bed alongside the patio, a lot of concrete flooring and a greenhouse.

So far i have:

cleaned greenhouse with soap and water after using a homebrew sanitiser (cut 3 fingers and a thumb).

got rid of rotting MDF, cut back everyhing with thorns and visited the local dump many times.

in the corner i have set a bed up above the the concrete using the sand, mud and mixed in grass cuttings that has a main space about 6 inches high and a taller level that is small and i have sewn with wild seed.

Trying herbs in the greenhouse but have a few issues.

I have lots of questions but will scatter them about other posts, thanks to all who will help me.

Me again.

The house is a rental, we are here for 6 months but looking to live here for a few years at least. Previous tenants let garden go but it was owned by a very keen gardener years ago.

Currently on a budget but trying to get the garden going a little.

Growing edibles is bigger priority than flowers.
