Sorry if this is the wrong place, but as a sort of tester of my abilities and to get ready as such for next season when my garden will be complete ive planted carrots, sweet peppers, tomatoe and onions, obviously the peppers and tomatoes i doubt will survive outside but ive room inside

anyway I used seeds bought from bq and followed instructions on the back, all are planted in little trays until germinated and all in the same john innes seed compost mixed with some vermiculate, firstly is that a decent mix?

secondly i misted them everyday for the first 3 days however after reading a little i put the trays in plastic carrier bags and set in my dark wardrobe for heat and the bags to retain moisture or keep dark..tbh not sure why you need i imagiend sunshine would bring about germination

so any tips for these specific veggies to be germinated be appreciated! also possibly what to do afterwards, ive got pots etc sorted but unsure what size would be suitable or what soils etc is needed

    still researching and asking :)

Greecko, take them out of the wardrobe. Take them out of the plastic bags, and put the trays on a light windowsill somewhere. They shouldn`t be somewhere in full sun, but it needs to be light.:dbgrtmb:

Ah thank you, my room doesnt get direct sunlight so ill set them out in there, do you reckon they need watered everyday? i lightly ist the soil to keep it moist but afraid of it getting soggy or the wet conditions maybe ruin the seeds, hard to find info on germinating specific seeds or their needs

also anything i could add to my compost mix to help?
