For the Scumbags

Yes I watched that One Show last night, half a ton of rubbish in 48 hrs, would they do that in there own gardens I wonder.

 

As Ziggy says, *dim*, horse poo doesn't carry the same nasties and, since it is produced by eaters of grass, hay and grains, is relatively wholesome if rather smelly. In fact, if you live in an older house which contains wattle and daub it is probably constructed partly from horse muck. It was scraped off the roads and incorporated in the 'daub'.

 

Is that from the campers on the Parkdean site, up above those expensive harbour side apartments, or do you mean from the Britt Valley Campsite opposite Meadowlands (where house prices seemed rather cheap in comparison to round this way when they were built)?

 

Wouldn't feel sorry for anyone who could afford they harbourside appartments:D

I meant the Brit Valley site, when its busy its like a smokescreen going across the road. I walk past when i'm off fishing in the evening.

 

I have a small gas bbq which is in the garage. I do use it fairly often but it takes maybe 15 mins to cook stuff then it's off. I quite like the smell of bbq....... to me its a summer smell. I CAN see where it would get annoying though with 65 of them going at once and every day as well. As for trash, well, its too bad that whatever gets chucked on the ground doesn't end up in the persons bed who so rudely put it there. That goes for people who don't pick up their dogs mess as well!

This is Cogden Nation Trust Nature reserve on the Dorset coast.

Apart from the offending litter I picked up from the beach, there is a new breed of super stupid dog owners that go there.

These people must be so thick that it makes me ashamed that I belong to the same species as them.

They scoop the dog poo into a plastic bag, tie a knot in it & then hang it on a fence, tree or bush.

So instead of commiting one offence they are commiting 2.

Failing to clear up their dogs mess (They might have bagged it but it is still on site)

And littering.

The dog poo will have rotted away well before the plastic bag has broken down, so if they are not going to comply with the law, why add extra litter as well.

Dog owners beware, if I ever see you do this I will take the offending bag off the tree and I will rub it all over you. If you make it back to your car I will force it into your air intake.

Well, can't say I didn't warn them.

 

People are lazy and selfish. It's a fact. I am a smoker but when I go somewhere like the beach or a nice scenic place I always take a small tin to put my treetreetree ends in. I admit I haven't always done this but I hate to see lovely places spoiled and have become a lot more thoughtful as I get older.

Interesting thread, and I agree there are some extremely annoying and disgusting people about.

In our area, we have our fair share of people who suffer from stupidity beyond all reason.

There is an area of special scientific interest, that also happens to be naturally beautiful, just down towards the Tees estuary. Coming from town, there is only one road leading to the gare. It is a private road too, but the owners (the harbour authority I think) allow the public to use it provided we behave. There is a spot down there that is unfortunately very popular with fly tippers.

The thing is though, to get to the fly tipping spot, you have to drive past the recycling centre, join the private road, drive past numerous security cameras watching the perimeter of British Steel, go down to the gare which is regularly patrolled by the harbour authority, dump the rubbish, then get back out again without being seen. These people are not only disgusting, but incredibly stupid.

As for dog poo in bags tied to trees and things, that has got to be the single most disgusting thing a person can do. There is no logic to it. Who do they think is going to remove it? Surely these people wouldn't want to see it build up until every branch of every tree in the country had a little bag of disgustingness waiting to slap them in the face on a dark night.

People who do these things shouldn't just be fined, they should be made to clean it all up first (and not just their own stuff, they should be made to clean up after others that have yet to be caught), then fined, then they should get a good slap for being so disgusting.

Yes I must admit when we first met, my hubby could string a sentence together of English slang that would make me go... wwhhhhhaaaaaaaattttt?? LOL now I'm sayin it!!!
