What to do to my lawn? Pics included

I just want more life back in the grass.

Any suggestions?

 

scotts lawn builder (2 small boxes will do) .... add that and water well for the next 2 weeks ... high in nitrogen and will green it up

then mow, and add a slow release fertilizer such as scotts autumn lawn builder ... will feed the roots

continue mowing and watering ... then, if there are any bare patches in a few weeks time, add some grass seed and cover with topsoil
