Claire Austin climber.

Hello every one. Had a ride out to David Austin yesterday and got my self a climber called Claire Austin.
Real nice it is with nice small compact flowers, lovely pure white and the scent from it is very nice and strong.
Once iv put it in the garden il take a photo of it. it has quite alot of buds on it so it should look a dream when they are all open .
Dose any one have this climber?

No, unfortunately I don't have your plant but I've had my eye on it for a while. Really good, scented white roses are hard to find. Some of David Austin's roses work very well as climbers because they're relatively small plants which can be relied upon to behave themselves rather than growing into massive house-smothering monsters.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! Man..... I should get a discount from you and Cosmos going over there..... hehehehe. Too bad you two didn't arrange to meet up. You probably walked past each other several times. Get some pic of your rose! I have my eye on that one as well as a short climber but I was resolved to only get 2 on the day.

 

Not much to look at but this is the climber i got . I think a wall covered with this will look just the job lol.

Wyevale has a sale on their D.A. roses, 2 for 25 quid and I picked up a Claire Austin as well as another Jubilee Celebration. I am going to grow it as a climber and am looking forward to seeing it in all its glory!
