Raining here today too, although I have been known to nip out and do a bit of gardening between showers :heehee:

Hopefully it will persist down tonight to deter the idiots from hitting Manchester again - Police choppers kept me awake half the night. :wallbang:

Horizontal rain here today. The woodburner's been lit, not because it's really cold but because it's just so miserable! Well, hoeing done and grass cut yesterday in the glorious sunshine. That's life in Britain, I suppose!

Torrential downpour on the M6 coming home this afternoon . Just managed to mow the front lawn though as gale force winds have dried it out ! Camping this weekend with the family , 6 adults , 5 grandkids , and a cocker spaniel :doggysmooze: In the Lake District , Pooley Bridge ,top of Ullswater . I have it on good authority that it very rarely rains in the Lake District !! :bbq:

Wet, windy and cold here, but it doesn't matter I've been glued to a paintbrush for the last two days varnishing wood. So boring!

It`s been good gardening weather here, apart from it being a bit breezy. Heavy rain forecast for overnight though.

It's been a lovely day down here, even had to get my hose out tonight as it's been dry for a few days now.

Its been a proper August day here on the north east coast.

I.e. wet, miserable, grey, cold and windy. Just like most days. Still, can't complain, we get less rain here than some parts of the country. We don't really get floods in our patch.

Still raining in Cumbria today, Harry, but forecast to get gradually better. Sunday set to be the better of the two weekend days. Much warmer today than yesterday, anyway.
