Well, rather than reading about all all the riots going on in England .. perhaps you would like to read what goes on in Portugal .. the first Iceland is arriving here on 1 September about 15 minuts from me ... see how this thread goes ... :loll:

Now you'll be able to get Chippy-chips and turkey twizzlers :) - I can't see it being a success somehow.

I do not know the tastes of the Portugese, but with frozen meals at 1 euro a go
packets of bacon, calamari in batter rings, all at 1 Eu
I think it will be a success
A whole pound of ham/beef/chicken cooked off cuts for 1Eu at UK prices
        should be good

my personal fav in Iceland are:

            chicken birjani
( has to be said that the area I live in is not short of ethnic dishes...!!!)
I did not know the taste of it at first but then since they publicised it so much I tried it and I don't mind it at all. I do eat spicy sometimes but not frequently.

Tortillas, eggs, Mc something flour that in Morrison sells for .78p more...,creme caramel, mature cheddar cheese, honey roast ham.

But anyway Iceland is by no means my favorite food store, not for layout nor for products.

PS Morrison today (12 August) had a sign up (never seen before) "Mc douglas flour at 1.18"...I should have thought full price wouldn't last long with Iceland 5min away doing it for £. 1!
