onions help

hello
planted onoins in aprill they all now have very long stems and starting to bend over
but they are not that big
should i leave them in or dig them up
some have a ball of flowers on them
new to this

Any with flowers (that are setting seed) need to be pulled and used (no good for storeing).
The others (with no flowers) will keep on growing until the leaves yellow.
