    New here and just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am a keen gardener ( amateur ) and live in the Norfolk countryside.

    Hi BB, welcome to Gardeners Corner. Lovely country around Norfolk, but that wind in the Winter!!!!!!! Just as a matter of interest are you near Fakenham???

    Hia, yes not too far off about 15 -20 miles I think. We do get a bad easterly whips across our back garden something wicked at times.

    I was in the RAF and stationed at RAF West Raynham a long time ago and have fond memories of the area. I also fish for two weeks every year with friends in Rutland and we often stray into Norfolk for the great fishing there. You'll like it here, BB, and there are plenty of gardeners who will need any advice you can give them.

    We are not far from Lakenheath Mildenhall and Marham, we have the jets and helicopters flying around most days. We've not long got back from fishing, both of us fish ( I think I caught the most to-day though ah!) :thumbsup:
    I'm sure I'll be seeking plenty of advice and hopefully be able to offer some too
