Never really watched it until Chris Ecclestone brought it back to life, have watched them all since though; must say though David Tennant was easily the best for me :thumb:

 

I remember the very first DW episode in 1963 , quarter past five , November the 23rd ( had to google that ! ). William Hartnell was the first one - a very grumpy doctor . My favourite was Tom Baker , who was I think the longest running Doctor, and he was actually born on the planet "Completely off my trolley " in the Orion sector 7 . :D

 

I liked the William Hartnell ones too. Got back into it at the same time as Bilbo did, liked all of The Doctors since

 

It was jon pertwee who played dr who.


Bill pertwee was the ARP warden in dad's army



No idea if they were related.



I don't watch Dr who anymore, too silly.

Still, even that didn't make me want to watch it. The new doctor looks like he's been hit in the face with a shovel! :D

I met him while working on Clarendon Palace, he was renting a house on the estate & asked if I would survey his house in return for dinner. I did, but only charged beer for it.

He's a lovely bloke with a smashing Mrs, salt of the earth.

 

Funnily enough there was an article in tonight's evening paper asking members of the public who was their favourite Dr. Who actor .

 

Thats a difficult one Gogs.
