Monthly Photo Comp August 2011 Votes..!!

    :thumbsup: Well here we are again everyone.. The end of another month & you all know what that means.!!

    This is the more serious of our monthly comps where we see some superb photography.. :thumbsup: This month has seen such a good number of very interesting entries..
    Voting will close at 11.59pm Friday 9th September 2011 ..
    ..!! :dbgrtmb::WINK1: So all that remains for me to do is wish, everybody who entered... "Good Luck".!

    HERE is a link to this months photos to help you decide..

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-
    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    NO VOTES FOR 2, 1ST PLACES ETC.

    3. Votes should be cast within five (5) days after this thread starting..
    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures..

    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next but 1 competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner.

    1st... Shiney... Striking a Chord... Just love the clean sharp photo of such delicate looking seeds...

    2nd... Gogs... Seed Gems.. Unusuaul to catch the colours like that lovely photo..

    3rd... Wolfiekate... After the Honeysuckle... Well if I was a bird I would certainly want to eat them... :D

    2- Frenchinella - Ricinus communis. Colour,shadows texture and composition are all excellent

    3 - Naylors Ark - Sweet pea pod ,. Cracking composition

    All the photos are great and it's very difficult for me to really explain why I prefer these ones, just say my feelings when I look on them.

    1st... Wolfiekate.... Scattered seeds... (The autumn sun!)

    2nd ... Gogs...Seed Gems...( The precious finery of Nature)

    3rd...Naylors Ark...Sweet Pea Pod...(Subtle harmony of colours and forms)
