Not so pink!

    Hello I have a variety of pinks and they all seem to suffer from the same problem i.e drying out of flower bud before it opens. Why is this ? On some half the plant is full of lovely open blooms then the other half is as if the buds have died ( well really they have ) other than that the plants look healthy. Any info gratefully accepted thanks.:scratch:

    When you find out let me know i had a patch like that at the front and put it down to dog or cat wee,they where sticky as well when i dead headed them (the pinks not the cats or dogs)

    Yeh will do. Can't say mine are sticky though just very dried up ( buds that is !).

    I can't answer your question bluebonnet, but you could try snipping off those flowers that haven't bloomed and see if they'll grow anew. May be a bit late in the season though for them to bloom again. :)
