Threads Layout

Hi, hope this is in the right section,(new here & a bit overawed at the amount of (fantastic) sections lol). When I look at threads the posts come up with the last reply 1st, just a bit strange to someone who's use to seeing the 1st post 1st, is there any way I can change it around. Another site I'm on,(Hilux Pickup Owners Club), has it so that when you go into a certain thread the last post you read in that thread appears so you don't have to trawl through them all again. Sorry to seem a pain but can anyone help.
