    Only one word for it: Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    Started the car so I could clear the windscreen for tomorrow as I haven't used it since it snowed and the temp gauge sais it was -5.

    Since discovered that there's nothing for me to do in the garden I was due to go to tomorrow so I'll be working at home again.:WINK1:

    It's never got above 35f at any time today, with light grey cloud al over, a little breeze which made things seem colder. The outside temperature at 8.20pm is 32f.:WINK1:

    Evening All
    weather first, de-icing the roads here and sunny today "But" freezing cold -8c

    I myself have tried to do the decorating "but" i got a call via the answer machine from my 86 year old farther-in-law and it started like this,


    Ring ring "i was on the steps painting so it takes a second to get to the phone) ring ring By now the answer machine kicks in, Hello we are not able to get to the phone please leave a message with your number and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

    Im not talking to one of those stupid machines, ring me back.

    Hi Dad how's it going?
    I'll tell you how its going, the doctors gone on holiday and this young girls in charge and im not having her look at me!

    But she's a doctor Dad! she knows what she's doing.

    Not with me she dos'nt, The worlds gone mad, i phoned the apple help line ref this Knee top P/C?

    Whats the problem dad?

    I'll tell you the problem, they've given me an instruction book thats rubbish.

    WHY Dad?

    Because its talking about mice, I dont have any mice do I?


    Well all this may sound daft but to an 86year old it must sound as if the world has gone mad when you talk about the mouse ref P:C's & Lap tops.

      Come to the sunny Isle of Man everyone! It's been beautiful here for the last few days. No snow, wall to wall sunshine, dry and windless. :sunny:

      11C yesterday and 8C today. Down to 3C now at 11pm.

            No sign of a thaw today. Sky black as your hat over the sea but doesn't look like we're going to get any more white stuff for now.

            Can't work outside as can't see the ground so have to stay in the warm Shame.
