Do you sleep on your back, on your stomach or on your side?
I was having a look at the IKEA pillows and apparently they have a different one based on the position you sleep in.

Back and side. I have a contour pillow and I quite like it.

I sleep on my stomach. Ten years ago I broke my leg and was plastered from thigh to toes. It made it difficult to turn over on my front, but I managed it and laid with my plastered toes hanging over the end of the bed! :)

Same here, Ziggy. I have dreams in Vistavision, Technicolour, and Dolby sound, with my movement in bed to match. Heck of a job in the morning to get the bed straight again.:D:heehee:

LOL! I'd probably be all over the shop too but have to sleep in a limited space. I use a CPAP machine so need to sleep in a bit of a contained position to keep from pulling the machine to the floor.

I have to sleep with a pillow between my legs to stop back and leg pain, but one of the best things that I have bought is a Silver Lining inflatable pillow. http://www.slpco.f9.co.uk/
I still only get around two to three hours sleep a night, but it does help. I would love to have one full night of sleep. :(

It seems that in my case, I'm nearly as active when I'm asleep as I am when I'm awake, so I sleep in all manner of positions, and sometimes several different locations throughout the night.

Badly! I have bursitis in my hips and I am a side sleeper so I sleep on a ripple mattress topper... which does help a little bit. But I hate sleeping on my back so I wriggle until I get side comfy!

I like the look of those silver lining pillows...

I usually sleep fine, but not last night.

It's exactly a week now since the hernia operation, recovery is going well and wounds are healing nicely, but they've now reached the ITCHY stage.
Nearly drove me mad last night!! :wallbang: :gaagh:
After about an hour of fidgeting, tossing and turning I ended up downstairs, pacing about the place just to take my mind off the ITCHING which was driving me CRAZY!!!

Think I eventually dropped off about 2am.

Glad it's healing nicely Trunky. Try holding a facecloth or similar rinsed in hot water near but not on the area, that might help with the itching. :)

Start off on my back, propped right up with 4 pillows so that I am almost in a sitting up position, can't get off to sleep any other way, but wake up on my side with 2 pillows usually on the floor!!!! :rolleyespink:
