I think I've finally figured out how to upload photos, so here's some off my mobile phone camera.

they're hardly professional quality, but they should be good enough to make my point.

Never take for granted what you have on your doorstep. These pics are Redcar beach and seaside at late afternoon and heading into dusk.

Its so easy to take it for granted when its something you've always known. Sometimes you need to take a step back and have a look at what you've got.

      Great pictures clueless

My sentiments exactly, I often take time out to just 'stand and stare', be it at a bee feasting on the cotoneaster outside by back door or the sky in all it's moods. I don't understand why people feel the need to travel abroad 'for the scenery' when we have some of the most beautiful and dramatic in the world.

Not much to stare at round here, endless building sites where they are building more and more houses, which is why I SO want to move!!!

Clueless, they're great pics. Thank you. You're right about taking time...there's a poem about that I think:WINK1:
Gemini - unfortunately unless you're stinky rich and can afford somewhere that has a total village like surrounding then you can't rely on anything or anywhere. Don't even believe the 'green belt' that you may be told...it can still change. I've seen it too often, albeit only a couple of times where I lived, which was too much. I look back now & hate what I see has been done. Too many people though - another subject! Try and enjoy whatever you can see.
