There is a blocking high pressure system over Europe this week. A blocking high is like a mountain, all the other systems go round it. After tuesday it could extend to us, which will mean summer temperatures for the rest of the week and sunshine:dbgrtmb:

At first glance I thought it was "Bocking High" and about your comfrey water.

Looking good for throwing my rods and a tent in the car towards the end of the week.

A high pressure system in this position its what we have been looking for all summer.
Strange how we had similar in April and May, then three and a half months of a westerly flow.
            Now in Autumn its back.

The High has been there but we were only getting slight influence from it during the summer.

I'm still wearing shorts and T Shirts as the weather has been so good although when we got back home Sunday tea time from a week away had to put the heating on as the house was freezing cold:D

We have heard a rumour that snow is forecast for October but don't know whether thta is correct or a slip of the tongue by the weather people :D

I find it very strange that those "experts" that have forecast snow for October a few weeks ago, appear to have missed forecasting this warm spell before it
