I have been on this Forum a long time.Never posted much.Just shy of talking on here and in real life.
If you had a big wish what would it be?
Mine is not to be shy and meet many more people in the future.

Thats 27 posts. You are making a good effort to overcome the shyness.
      Well done. Keep it up.

You can't be shy on here. Just say it as you see it. Most of us don't get upset very easily.

Mine would be to get the Grandson playing Cricket for Yorkshire.
        He's a bit young yet (3yrs) but I'll work on him later.:sunny:

Living in Northumberland might be a problem though.

          I'm shy too :)

A big wish? That my kids stay happy and healthy. They are my little everythings. :sunny:

A wish for me. That I could get over my current mid life crisis and stop worrying! I feel that life isn't supposed to be as complicated as I make it! :DOH:I need a brain over analysis off switch! :dbgrtmb:

To conquer my complete terror of being in charge of a car. I still haven't converted my provisional driving licence to a full one. Just driving around an empty car park gives me the vapours. :phew:

Don't be shy BG! You're just as important as anyone else!! Hugs!
My wish would be to see my family on a regular basis. The distance and cost prevent me from making regular trips home.

I make a point of never wishing for anything...If there is something i would have 'wished' for i always say "i would like"...I know it sounds odd but it stems from when i was in hospital with a jiggered gall bladder and in the next bed was a very poorly young woman with cancer. We were talking about hair of which she had lost hers...She said she always wished she had curly hair having had straight hair... after her first course of chemo her hair grew back curly..she was so happy ..but then took a turn for the worst...it was her who said "becarefull what you wish for"...Sadly she died 3 days later....So since then her words ring in my ears when i think of wishing...it's just one of my peculiar ways !!!! but i hope everyone who wishes gets only the best...:)

Do I only get one wish?

Well, that would be for my 25 year old daughter with a First Class BSc, to get a job that recognises her achievement and pays her accordingly. She's a Civil Servant in central London and gets £18,000 - and please don't say 'there are loads of jobs out there', 'cos there aren't, it took her a year after leaving Uni to find this one. She's not complaining, (she's just grateful to have a job), but I am.

Luxury, lass, luxury. My stepson isn't quite licking the streets clean for a living but he is working as a labourer. He's a trained lawyer.

I would love a helicopter with a built in time machine so I could go back about 4000 years and fly around all the ancient forests in the UK :D
Would bring back some pictures and post them on here!
Are you going to grant my wish now?? :heehee:

To get over my fear of flying, so I could visit my newly emigrated son and daughter. One in Columbus, USA, the other in Vancouver, Canada. :(

Not exactly a 'wish' but a 'hope'. I hope I stay alive and healthy long enough to see my son grow into an independent man. And if I could choose a second (but related) one, it would be that when that happens, he still considers me to be his best mate as well as his dad.
