    Good evening everone,

Hope you are all well and have had a good day.:)

I have computer probelms at the moment and have only been able to get on here as I am logged on to the computer in Mr Kandys name. All I can get is Welcome on the screen after I have clicked on my name and then nothing so I can't even acess any of my favourites as Mr Kandy only has about five favourites whereas I have squillians so have to keep typing everything onto the Google bit to get the sites I want:D

    Have a good evening:)

      Good morning everyone,

      Kandy,
sorry to hear that your computer is having problems and hope it gets sorted soon.

      Woo,
thanks for the lovely photos. If I had taken my camera with me I still wouldn't have been able to take the lovely photos of Trafalgar Square as it has the NFL rally, demonstration and entertainment on. Typical of local government errors, their newspaper says it's on next weekend :heehee: NFL TO

We had a great time on our tour of the National Gallery. It makes a fantastic difference when you are having things explained by someone who really knows what they are talking about. This included all the gossip about the artists and then events depicted in the paintings which is not always the official viewpoint :D.

There were just over 20 of us, family and friends, and 18 of us went to a very nice Italian restaurant in Leicester Square for lunch afterwards. Extremely good value for money as we picked from their lunchtime special menu at £10 for two courses. We didn't finish lunch until after 4 p.m. :rolleyespink: and then six of us wandered off to Covent Garden and strolled around the shops and stalls and watched the street entertainers. We then continued on to Seven Dials (by then I was bored with shops but the girls weren't) and on to Holborn.

Mrs shiney and I went up to London by train on 'Senior's tickets' and it was a fast and very comfortable journey on one of the new trains. From the mainline station (Liverpool St) we went by bus to Trafalgar Square using our wrinklies bus passes. So it was an excellent day out for a very reasonable price. A couple of cousins from Kent came all the way by bus and it didn't cost them a penny because of their bus passes :dbgrtmb:

This afternoon we shall have a long drive as we have been invited to a Diwali party :hapfeet: which is the Hindu Festival of Lights. We're looking forward to it

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday :D

      Good morning everyone,

I still can't get logged on to the computer in my name so have had to take Mr Kandys identity which I find boring as I can't find my blogs to read now that my favourites are no longer there and can't acess any of my photos either on the computer so can't even look at them:mad:It has been suggested by a good friend that I delete that account and start again but as I am not computer savvy don't want to start fiddling with anything and don't want to make things worse than what they are:D

Mr Kandy is unwell at the moment with man health problems and it has taken me three weeks to get him to finally go and see a Dr to make sure all is well in that department so he is going this morning so hopefully it won't be anything that is going to cause problems for him:rolleyespink:

Woo,thanks for the lovely spring primrose, just what i need to look forward to.Hope you are keeping well :thumb:

Shiney, glad that all went off well with your family visit to the art gallery and that you enjoyed your meals afterwards.I expect the festival of lights went off ok as well:thumbsup:

Moyra,I wonder what Amber will think of the snow if we get the bad winter they are all talking about. She will enjoy herself in the white stuff:D

Penny, keep warm and be careful when you are out walking and driving when the roads and paths are icy:)

Louise and BG,hope you and your families are keeping well and are not getting too much wind and rain that they keep forecasting:rolleyespink:

      Enjoy your day everyone:)

      Good morning everyone

It's rather breezy out there but the sun is shining :sunny:. I'll have to move the sprinkler to another bed as all the plants are drooping.

Today I'm going to try and shape another of our specimen conifers. it's about 15ft high and has a diameter of about 6ft at the base. The lower half is easy but getting to the upper half is always a strain.

Kandy, I hope Mr K is OK. Give him our best wishes :dbgrtmb:

The party was excellent and the weather was lovely which made it even better :dbgrtmb:

      Have a great day :D

Good Morning everyone, bit on the late side this morning. Thank you WOO for the lovely gladioli.

Kandy, wish Mr. K better soon and I hope you get your pc sorted too. The thought struck me that I wondered what Amber would think of all the white stuff when it comes. She's not very fond of rain and puddles so not sure whether snow will receive the same contempt.

Shiney. I thought we were supposed to get some rain over the next couple of days but now it doesn't look like it. So much for the snow by the end of October too......looks doubtful now.

        Have a good day everyone.

Well no frost today, but it is pouring rain out there.

Moyra, I've checked our 10 day forecast and it shows a small possibility of rain in the early hours tomorrow. I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you :heehee:
