    Good morning everyone,

    We actually got a little rain yesterday, but not much. Mrs Shiney wanted to plant some garlic but couldn't get the fork into the ground as it is too hard!

    Yesterday evening I thought I saw Oscar limping very badly on three legs on his way into the greenhouse so called Mrs Shiney. She went out there and found that it was Monty and he wouldn't hang around for her to see what was wrong. He couldn't put one of his rear legs to the ground. I phoned his humans who were on the way back from London and they came straight to us. They said that they haven't seen him for two days but he wasn't around when they came to look. We put some food out near where he slunk off into the bushes but don't know what has happened as we were both out all evening. I hope he is OK. We'll have another look for him when it's light.

    Good morning all,hope you are all well.I woke with a stinker of a cold this morning but i need to give the greenhouse a good wash and brush up so hopefully i'll work it off....
    I do hope Monty is ok Shiney...our furry friends are such a worry...

    Kandy hope Mr. K is feeling better. Shiney, hope Monty hasn't done anything serious to his foot or leg. Maybe a thorn. He will probably lick it out hopefully. Hope Oscar is ok.

    Good moring everyone,

    Its not raining today, however its cool.....and like i said, they care calling for the dreaded "s" word this weekend.

    Have some errands to do today, banking, grocery shopping, pick up my new jacket, things like that.

      Update:

      We found Monty cowering in the bushes and extremely nervous (he's always nervous of us) but Mrs Shiney managed to coax him out with some food. His humans came round with his box and got him into it - he wasn't happy to be in there :(

      They'll be taking him to the vet so hope he's OK

      Shiney, so glad you and Mrs S managed to catch hold of Monty and get his humans to collect him to take him to the vets. Hope he has not done anything serious to himself.

          Woo, unfortunately the vet doesn't seem to work at night :(. I suppose I shall have to get the information directly from the cat's mouth later.

          Love today's flour :love30: :yahoo: :loll:. The camera never lies :heehee:

          We've got a workman coming early this morning to do some maintenance under a yearly contract, so we may have our power off for a short time. Don't all run away when I'm not looking :D

          :loll:Thank you WOO for my laugh of the day. I do love your Flower of the day. Flour does Flow when its poured so in essence is a Flower?!!:what:

          Ok, I'll go quietly. So here I am waiting at the gate for the latest bulletin and poor Shiney is 'powerless' to help!:DOH::o I did say I'd go quietly. So better had will pop back later for the news of Monty!

          Lunchtime Update

          Monty is still in hospital but will be OK.

          They are not sure of the cause of the damage to his foot but it has a tear in it and was full of puss. They think it is more likely that he caught his foot on something like barbed wire and that it wasn't a fight as there is no other evidence.

          He is on two different types of antibiotics and they want to keep him in until they can reduce it to just one type. Although he woke up this morning appearing quite happy they felt it better to keep him slightly sedated because of the amount of damage.

          He should be home either tonight or tomorrow.
