    Good morning Woo and everyone,

Woo we are up and about at the same time this morning.Mr Kandy got up at 2.22am and ended up waking me up and as I can't get back to sleep decided to get up as I have lots of irioning to do so will make a start when I have finished this post:DAll the door frames are now painted and Mr Kandy spent some time yesterday painting the loft hatch door so that looks all nice now although he wasn't happy when i told him I would need my ironing board as that is where the hatch door is drying on top of a plastic crate so has had to move it into the dining room to finish drying ready for the top coat:DLove the rose and rainbow by the way:thumbsup:

Moyra I had forgotten all about using raw onions for the smell.I have a cut up one in the fridge so will have to get it out to use. Thanks for the reminder:thumbsup:Hope Amber isn't affected too much by the fireworks tonight. Our cats were terrified last night as some bright spark was letting theirs off last night ahead of the village ones tonight and they were in hiding:mad:

    See you all later:)

    Morning friends :D

Yes, it's the weekend and a relaxed time will be had :yess:

It's such a busy time, workwise, so you have to make hay ..... etc. etc.
Off to Tesco within the hour and then the rest of the break will be doing very little - if the rain stops and it's not too sodden underfoot i may spend some time outside :happydance:

    Morning Everyone,

Thank you WOO for the rainbow. I do love them. :love30:

Kandy, Amber listens to the bangs but doesn't seem too bothered by them which is good.

Have a great day everyone and girls wrap those colds and coughs up and throw them away!:loll:

            Good morning everyone,

            Running a bit late on here this morning as we have been out walking round our village and taking some nice picckys of Autumn colours and managed to get some photos of a Willow/Marsh Tit{Not sure which one until I check my books:D}

There was loads of bangs from the fireworks last night but we had taken the precaution of keeping our cats indoors with the volume turned up which helped.:D

It is a bit parky out there this morning but we have blue skies with lots of sun so it looks like it is going to stay a beautiful day:)

Lots to do today so hope you all have a good one

Morning everyone, nice to see you Wendy sorry to hear about your back though.

Woo, thank you for the lovely crocus. The way the weeks are speeding by I guess it will not be long before they are out for real. Gypsy, what a lovely name for a lovely dog. I take it she is the german shepherd. I hope you enjoyed your early walk.

Kandy, hope Mr K is feeling much better although he hasn't had much rest during his week off. Still glad you got your decorating done.

Have a good day everyone and you too Shiney if you are too busy to post. Take care all.:sunny:

Hi Moyra,Mr Kandy has been feeling a lot better since his iffy day at the start of the week so perhaps all that was needed was the antibiotics.Time will tell though and thanks for asking after him, much appreciated:)The wood painting is all finished now and I tried your onion suggestion seemed to have worked as there isn't the same smell of the paint today definetly is less than it has been this last week.He has the ceilings and walls to do next week and we have just got back from B & Q with three tins of Lemon Ice paint for the walls and we already have white paint for the ceilings and coving so he is hoping to do some more work ech evening next week after work,or if he is too tired will wait until next weekend:D

I think Shiney is still away at the moment Moyra up in Daventry so will probably be too busy playing bridge to be able to post on here:heehee:

O2,sorry to hear you are still having back problems and hope that you eventually get some relief for it as I know how debilitating they can be....

            Enjoy your day:)

            Good morning everyone,

Its cool here, but no frost overnight.

Feeling a little better today, i went and got some Tylenol back and body pills, and those are working...plus my throat feels better, i still tense up when i feel a cough or a sneeze coming on, but its slowly getting better.

Have to go to the grocery store, need to get a few things, have some laundry in now, and need to vaccum.

Oh thanks Kandy, I didn't realize that the Daventry trip was a weekend away trip. Should have realized I hope he is enjoying it and winning as usual.

Well progress is being made then by Mr. K. Pleased about that. Your redecoration will all be nice and fresh ready for Christmas. That's good. Ought to do some myself. I keep asking Steve and telling him I will pay him to do it for me. It is really the landlady's responsibility but I have been here 15 years and I have always done it so far. She paid me £150 for some paint a few years back but as you know that goes nowhere the cost of paint and materials these days. She said I would be her top priority for redecoration that was over two years ago. I know what happens her other properties keep changing hands so she has to do them in between tenants. I shall not hold my breath. At least while she is not doing it she cannot put the rent up!:D
