    Good morning everyone,

Sorry shiney I missed these posts yesterday and sorry to hear about Oscars health and at leats glad to hear that the vets are doing everything they can to help him and bring him back to full health:kittykiss:

If at any time you don't have a pet carrier a cardboard box would do as long as it is big enough and then you just put some holes int he sidefor ventilation:)
Moyra,I had loads of washing to put out yesterday but by the time the fog had lifted and we saw the sun it was too late so ended up putting my towels in the drier as Mr Kandy said it is going to be even damper today with the weather.Love the photo of Amber now she is bigger:doggysmooze:

Woo,hope the day goes well with the removal of the cotoneatsor bushes:thumbsup:Did you see Autumnwatch on Friday with all those Pied Wagtails roosting in those laurel bushes and getting the heat off of that heating system? They are not daft you know:DYour polar bear clip made me :)

Loli, nothing worse than computer glitches,we have them constantly in this house:D

    Enjoy your day everyone:)

    Good morning everyone :)

I've been sat outside with my coffee since 6.30 and it's such a beautiful morning :wub2:

The birds are letting each other who's made it through the night and letting us know who's around :D

It's perfectly still and very mild - and everything in the garden's rosy
    Enjoy your Sunday folks :)

      Good morning everyone,

I hope Oscar had a good night. Whilst sitting at my computer I can look out the window to where he has his house in the propagator in the greenhouse. I usually glance across regularly to see whether he has got up and is ready for breakfast. I'll check it later just to see whether Monty might have moved in :).

It looks quite damp out there with a thick mist but I think it will be sunny later.

Keep well and have a great day :D

This is quite natural, cats will pant like that when they're hot, nervous and scared/aggitated - they will also defeacate so it might be an idea to get a proper cat carrier or Mrs. Shiney might have a bit of a 'situation' to deal with.
Isn't it awful when our pets aren't well :(

Bad news. The vet just phoned and said that Oscar was having a bad seizure and was in pain. We said we would come straight away but she said she thought he was in too much distress to wait that long. So we have just said goodbye in our minds.

Must go - I'm crying too much to see properly. :cry3:

      Good Morning everyone....
Moyra Amber does look quite grown up from the picture but that lovely 'innocent' face gives her away:sunny:

Tears are streaming down my face as I type this. I am so desperately sorry Shiney and Mrs S for your loss. You gave him such a good home and I know his ghost will wander around your garden for years to come. At least he is out of pain now and hasn't had to live with the discomfit of needles twice a day.

R.I.P. Oscar everyone on this thread will mourn your passing.

I expect Monty will miss him too. Deepest sympathy to all who will miss him. I know I shall. :(:cry3:

Shiney, I've missed all of your posts regarding Oscar until now, and I am so sorry to hear the news because I know you will be devastated by the loss of Oscar. You have many friends on Gardeners Corner and they will be feeling your pain, my friend. I know no words will bring you comfort but may I say that Oscar led a better and happier life with you and hopefully you will find some small comfort in that.

Again, Shiney, I am so sorry for your loss.
