Good Morning everyone, Happy Valentine's Day to you all and a big Thank You WOO that is lovely.

I received my nice wicker tubs yesterday for growing my veggies in. I am replacing the jute sacks that I used last year as most of them got damaged during the season one way or another - I think it was a little thing called Amber which did it, she too wanted to do some digging! Hence she now has her sand pit! Lol..........now all we need is the weather to be kind to us.

Anyone else getting enthusiastic and wanting to get going with the seeds - must do some seed shopping.

Moyra,Your wicker tubs sound ideal but hope Amber doesn't like the taste of them.My sister has a Lab and it enjoyed chewing the legs of her pine farmhouse style table plus I think Ellie had a go at one of the chair legs as well.My sister was not pleased:D

At least it will be nice for you to step outside the kitchen door and not have to go too far to pick all those nice fresh veggiesI am chomping at the bit but can't do much in the grden because of the perma frost on the ground but have already started tidying up the greenhouse plants:D

Shiney sound slike you have got some good bargains there with the Insurances and hope you are winning at the bridge games.I expect we can call Mrs Shiney a bridge widow then?:D

Anyway,better go and get my washing hung on the airing racks to dry and then will go and get my porridge sorted plus get the veggies prepared for todays dinner,so hope you all have a good day

Good morning too to everyone.....
My mind is all over the place today.... i made the 'mistake' of driving by a lovely cottage yesterday thats for sale....it's always been my dream to live somewhere just like that as it is for many i suppose....it's only 5 miles away so still handy for mum and dad.....where we live now is lovely and i have no reason to move but the cottage has 2 acres of land....perfect for a couple of young donkeys that need fostering from our friend who is a vet.....the dogs would love it too and my chooks.....there are only 3 cottages in the 'village' i'm trying hard to find something wrong with it to put me off.....lots of BIG trees,the cottage is small.....but the trees are beautifull,silver birch,walnut,oak,ash,cherry and several more all well away from the SMALL cottage.....but i like small:wallbang: The particulars from the agent seem promising and the photos were taken last september when everything was in full bloom....magical yesterday it looked a little drab,it was dull and drizzley But i could live with that:Dmum and Co are prepared to live here in the bungalow so no problems with having to sell first........
Mr Lolimac didn't sleep well last night....something to do with a 'cottage':D
WAKE UP LOLIMAC....and get on with doing the rest of your washingi'm hopeing this is a passing fase......(i hope Mary and Joseph find a good home) listen to me i've named the donkeys allready

Kandy, I forgot to say........Amber destroyed most of the jute sacks last year but she hasn't wrecked much fortunately. My first Labrador, Honey, devoured the table and chair legs of our dining suite so I do appreciate how much damage Labradors can do.
