    Hi Everyone,

Ive just joined the forum and so naturally i wanted to drop by and say a big hello. I also probably need to apolgise in advance for any stupid questions that i ask.. Im sure there will be a few, lol.

Im a complete novice at gardening however its something i have always been fascinated by and really wanted to get into for a long time.

We have just acquired a beautiful little house that used to be an old miners cottage and as the garden is really big i figure that now is the perfect time to start to learn, with a little help from the good people on here, i hope.

The garden, although a little overgrown in places, is absolutely stunning and abundant with plants, however the only two i can recognise are roses and bamboo. I did try and identify some of them by using the plant identification tool on the botanical keys website however, no joy, although i do have to admit that i found some of the questions it was asking me on there a little perplexing.

So, as you probably guessed, my next post is going to be on the plant identification section that i have noticed that the forum has, lol.

So, finally, i just wanted to say thanks for having me and i look forward to becoming an active member of the forum, as soon as i learn a thing or two, lol.

    Have a great day everyone.
