I usually take them down to a couple of inches in height around February. Where are you? I've never fleeced a grass.

When you trim will be up to you, can't see a problem doing it anytime over Winter.

I am not too far just up the road in Angus .

My others grasses in pots out all winter unfleeced and ok last year.

But I dont have this beautie yes for added protecion in your greenhouse sure this would be fine.

I even put my 2 best terracota pots of lavendar cold greenhouse with fleece and bring them back out in spring and they grow perfect and no cracked terracota pots due to frost.
