Just looked at the front page so far - will go back and look at the rest another time. BUT £100.00 for seeds for one person.!!!!!

Veg seeds are 29p per packed in Aldi, netto, lidl, Wilkinson's and I'm sure others. For someone just starting - or thinking of starting they can 'get by' seedwise for less than a fiver! There is no way I would ever have started growing beg if I thought I had to invest £100 to start with for seeds.

My first year I planted potatoes that were sprouting in the cupboard. Had a couple of donated tomato plants and bought 3 or 4 packets of seeds for veg I like.

Apart from that the site looks good to me.

Nice to see you and the site doing well Alexei.

I hope Mike is fully recovered now and "working" his plot.

I hope my old plot is proving fruitful, myself and Carol put a lot of work into clearing it! it's a pity injury incurred on my plans to utilise it but no doubt you found a suitable tenant?

Hi Vince - nice to hear from you. Your old plot went to a new fella, who has taken a bit of time getting into it but is working it now.

Mike's plot - well, it's definitely improved, but more needs to be done there - especially as he's just given notice to three more plotholders! The whole site has picked up enormously compared to just a few years ago.

I hope you, Carol and the dogs are all very well and enjoying the (shortlived?) sunshine...

    All the best,
    Alexei

Hec - Thanks for the reply. I must have made it unclear - it was 50p a pack - so £25 for 50 packs of seed...I did lok at Aldis but the variety isn't fantastic...
