Blimey Ziggy, that's a difficult one! I'll have to think about this and come back.

I don't think there's a ghost of a chance of an agreement on this, Ziggy:D:heehee:

It all depends on what that afterlife is about. If it's a continuation of what we have now, would we want it?

I don't think Ziggy is asking what kind of Afterlife, Sheal, just is there one!:D

I realise that Armandii. :) I'm just thinking out loud at the moment, tossing the subject around a bit.

            Or should there be one?

Whether there is one or not, do we think there should be one as a foregone conclusion?

Knowing my luck, I would come back as a cludgy cleaner

Or if you do not come back
How does it go if your first love that you married and she died, then you turn up only to be followed by your current mrs and your conquests
Meet the Ex and the MIL from hell again

Je'so NO I will have managed to get through one, that is enough stress for me

I am terrified of my retirement date in April having worked since my 15th birthday and never off other than a holiday or major illness I am sure I will die driving home on the last day of work

The last thing I want is to have to do it all again

I know you know that Sheal....just entering into the Spirit of things:heehee::D But I am surprised that a cool headed, deep thinking person like you hadn't reach a conclusion about it already.:D:scratch:

The doubting, cold, factual part of my mind says NO there is no afterlife. But in the dark recesses of my mind a little voice is whispering "HOPE!!"

                Hi Ziggy.
If you get there, don't forget to drop back and post the correct info - but keep it in the right Spirit.

My MIL used to say that she wanted to be able to chose what she could come back as for her next life.

She wanted to be a Pigeon so that she could fly over and S*** on men.

I've noticed my car is often affected. Could there be anything in it?:what:

The way I see it is we are all just a form of energy, and when we physically die that energy just passes into something else.

One of the best experiences I had as a kid was seeing my great uncle when I was about 12, go into a trance and speak in two different and distinct voices, when he came round he was asking if that was alright ?
Like he was unaware of what was being said, quite a few on that side of my family were Mediums.
He was also a spiritualist healer and had been known to have straightened this girls legs by channeling an Indian Medicine Man, this was back in 40's and 50's when the Authorities would raid the meetings and try and rouse the Spiritualists, some of which died in the process.
