New Orleans Wedding Trip

November 10th, we fly out for a wedding in New Orleans for our Nephew Ian and a wonderful young women Rachel. We have met her, and she is so charming, beautiful and smart. Ian certainly got a catch. Of course we think Ian is special, but its good he got a great gal.

And the wedding is to be held at the hotel. The colors are Champagne and Black.
The reception is a few blocks from the wedding, walking distance I am told, which is good since we ar not renting a car. http://www.bourbonvieux.com/

This area is in the French Quarter.

I did find a nice dress and had a facinator made for it.

Thanks all we were there several years ago, before the mother nature did her deed. Spent a week there, it certainly was interesting.
Looking forward to some short sight seeing close to where we are staying. Lots of relatives coming in for the wedding.

The venue looks superb and I now have it on my list of things to do when I next get to that side of the pond.
Decided not to fly out this Christmas though I know it's tiime for me to visit again. :-)
I want to spend Christmas in my own home this time.
