    Hello
New here and hoping to share info and experiences with others. I've so far been used to having a smallish city garden. I've now moved and have what seems to me a rather large garden which has been terribly neglected by previous house owner. I have a bit of an uphill struggle as am trying to get it back to being in keeping with the property (Victorian). Have spent a lot of time cleaning up and now getting started on planting out some new areas and also developing some raised veggie beds I've put in. Also have some new young fruit trees - no experience with these.

Bit long-winded, a bit like me LOl

Thanks everyone. Littledragon I am new to the fens so getting to grips with what grows and what doesn't I may be asking you lots of questions. I seem to have mixed soil, lots of clay, thankfully not concrete like stuff so I shouldn't complain (but I will of course LOL).

tell me about it, I've had pansys turned to mush in a hanging basket in June ! it can get a bit blowy, I suppose that's why all the windfarms have sprung up out at sea :what:
