More DNA stuff

You may remember the article about Humans mating with Neanderthals on their migration out of Africa.

Now it seems that the East Asian population also mated with another Humanoid species, the Denisovans.

Well we all must have originated from one mutation yes, chicken & egg teritory there:D

But what these 2 discoveries show is that while pure Homo Sapiens remained in Africa, the ones that migrated crossed with 2 distinct other Humanoids.

To simplify it, you could think of the ones in the West as being Homo Sapiens X Neanderthal and the ones in the East as being Homo Sapiens X Denisovians.

And to complicate it, folk from the West who breed with folk from the East will produce offspring with DNA from all 3 species:DOH:

Ok, not got a flow diagram template so bear with me.

Humans evolve in Africa

Those going West mate with Neanderthals

Those going East mate with Denisovians

That makes 3 separate Humanoid Races. The pure race left in Africa, and the 2 hybrid races either side of the globe. Like I said, there probably will have been some intermingling between the 2 hybrids on the edge of the territories and will have definately been some crosses since the advent of global travel.

You must have noticed that the Chinese don't look like Africans and the Europeans don't look like either.

There are other factors of migration at play as well, it is very complex, but the root of the thing is that Humans crossed with other Humanoids and that we carry their DNA.

 

The rest of us mate with females.

 

But of which species Dai ?

 

If you are VERY lucky, the Welsh species.

 

I've been known to admit to noticing that. Some people react strangely when you notice such things. Officially we all look identical, whether we are young or old, black or white or somewhere in between, big or small, male or female - all officially identical.
