        It was a tangled mess so needed doing. Probably lost the flowers for next year but should be spectacular in 2013.:thumbsup:

        Planted one of these this year so it's still only tiny but now I know how to treat it when its grown a bit more:)

        Neighbours did a 'subtle prune' on a 30ft bordering apple - they've taken the entire crown off!

        Slightly more severe than pollarding as the entire crown has been sliced off! They basically have abig stick in the ground lol Shame as I liked the windfalls!
