    Amazing age .. did ent know they lived for that long ..all those years Tarzan lived in the Jungle , yet he never grew a beard.. i mean Tarzan and not the Chimp :sunny:

    Cheetah the chimpanzee who starred in the Tarzan movies of the early 1930s has died at the age of 80, it has been announced. By James Orr The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary in Palm Harbour, Florida, said Cheetah died of kidney failure on Dec 24.

        I think this article is a spoof. No one could hit you with poop at a distance of thirty feet. Especially with bars in the way.

          Guy the gorilla at London Zoo used to do that as well before they put the glass in .:heehee:

          I saw him do it on many occasions , knowing what he was about to do I would quickly shift out of the way :happydance:

            Intersting that poop can stay in one piece for a 30 foot throw. Thats some poop.

            jokes aside .... I have seen chimps throw poop at people at Johannesburg zoo

              Years ago, a clip concerning an ape and its doings was regularly shown on programmes featuring funny out-takes from various shows. In it, a zoo keeper stands in front of a chimps' enclosure, talking earnestly to camera. For a brief moment or two, a chimp comes into shot in the cage behind him. The animal looks at the camera, the keeper and the interviewer, before disappearing from sight. He returns a little while later, armed with an impressive amount of excrement, which he then hurls expertly at his keeper's head. Rather disappointingly, the keeper doesn't react at all. Maybe that sort of thing happened to him every day.
