In all fairness, I think his tyres are the least of his worries. Tyres are cheap compared to a full suspension rebuild, clutch replacement, and exhaust replacement. The back suspension is clearly ready to die, if it hasn't already. The clutch wont last long managing the kind of weight that busts suspension, and with the car pushed that far down, it would be long before the exhaust finds and decides to run off with the tarmac.

              Baggage beware

Remember as a child watching an incident happen on the M6 as we were following a car. The suitcases rapidly fell off the roof rake leaving a trail of clothes along a mile plus section of the motorway. Not a good way to start or end a journey

The best one I saw was whilst living in Naples. I was at a local crossroads waiting to fight my way over when a moped carrying three people came trundling past. The two passengers were holding onto a bed frame which was vertical with wheels attached to the bottom. How they kept it vertical over the potholes I'll never know. Sat inside the bed frame was a young boy carrying a toddler :(

Families of four or five on a moped were commonplace but that took the biscuit.

Me too, even more scary are the families on motorbikes coming back from shopping, with Dad, Mum and 3 or 4 kids plus loads of bags hanging off handlebars :what:

The worst I've seen was in Cairo, people were crammed onto a bus with some hanging out of the door, one guy hadn't actually got hold of any part of the bus, he was holding onto the back of another person, the bus was weaving in and out of the traffic at speed :rolleyespink:
