Can anyone recommend a good website that has decent plants/plugs?
I normally buy from garden centres etc etc...but i've been nosing on Thompson & morgan website and wondered if anyone has any good/bad experiences with them or any other sites that deal with bedding plants etc...

    Many thanks

ebay is where I buy most of my plants .... find a seller who has several of the plants you are looking for, so as to combine shipping costs ...

and check the feedback .... if he has sold thousands of plants and has a good feedback, you can bid with confidence

OOPS .... double post .... computer froze

Keep nosing on there as you can very often get some really good deals on plug plants and very often there's a code to be had that you can use to get free delivery and you can get further money off if you're a member of a 'cashback' site (such as Quidco - 12% at the moment at T&M).

As an example, scroll down to my posts # 28 & 29 on this thread:

Just keep checking out their special offers, free P&P periods and keep Googling 'T&M free P&P code'

          Hello SweetPea
as Dim said Ebay is a good place to buy plug plants from , of course check the feedback.
The one I have used a few times is Funky Flora on Ebay . I am also buying a some plugs from Geraniums UK which has good reviews on this forum. I would only normally buy mail order if I can't source the plants from my local nurseries / Garden centres.
A company called Jersey Plants was definately not flavour of the month on this forum last year !

I think T&M give Quidco 12% of the final fee back, and they then give it back to their users.

Click on link in my post above and again on "Quido Explained" .

If you're looking at plants on T&M's site, it's also worth checking out Van Meuwen which despite being a subsidary of T&M, sometimes has better prices/offers on indentical plants. For example, Van Meuwen (who don't sell seeds, but do sell, bulbs, onions, garlic, spuds, etc.) are currently offering free delivery on all orders (offer ends midnight 2nd Jan 2012), whilst T&M are only offering free P&P on orders over £50.
