I'm trying to plan my garden pots & baskets for the summer in bloom competition this summer, their forward planning is for pinks, blues, greens, yellows, oranges & purple's, and the theme tying in with the 2012 olympics & golden jubilee.

Now i had a brain wave of trying to do the olympic rings and or '50' in red/white/blue for the jubilee...
BUt unsure what bedding plants would make a good display for a fixed theme??
Any thoughts & inspirations would be appreciated :dbgrtmb:

Well i just had one thought of either painting 5 small round pots in the olympic colours or/and adding the same single colour plants to each pot...
Can you get black flowers? - something rings a bell about black pansies?? hmmm...

Before you get too carried away, make sure that you do a 60, not a 50!
