    Hi Everyone

I joined about a week ago, but haven't made my formal introduction yet.

After nearly five years, I've just reached the top of the allotment waiting list and been given a gorgeous half plot with raised beds, a greenhouse, a shed and an established asparagus bed! :yess: :happydance:

I've got a couple of repairs to do (shed door is falling to bits and some of the greenhouse glass is broken) and a fair bit of digging and weeding but I know I am very lucky that the plot hadn't got too far out of hand. I've also got a lot of practical learning to get on with. I've read the books but never put it into practice before. I'm looking forward to talking to you all and hope it won't be too long before I am helpful rather than just asking for help all the time...:o

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've just been looking through all my lovely seed packets and putting them in some sort of sowing order... I am going to be very busy!!!
