For now, 4 named varieties: Teasing Georgia, Westerland, Ghislaine de Feligonde and Rosa velchenblau 'Blue Rambler'.
    And 2 nameless ones...

If I'm not mistaken about their habit: ramblers, if not trained, will behave like large cascading shrubs.

They will, Angelina, if you treat them like climbers at first, giving them support and training them as you would a climber until you get to the height where you want the cascading effect:D But I would emphasise that all roses are hungry plants so feed them well.:love30::love30::D

Amongst the Roses that I do have is Trumpeter which my wife and I found at Hidcote Gardens in one of the long main borders. It seemed to stand out really well, for a small shrub rose, against the dark green of the hedge. It's a rose that I haven't regretted buying:

It sits alongside "Crazy for You" which you can see behind it:

Also now sitting on the other side of "Trumpeter" is "Orange and Lemons" which I bought last week after Woo showed it in this Thread, so that's your fault, Woo!!!

If you mean the Brother Cadfael Rose, SIXpence, I see David Austin is asking £24.95p plus a postal charge of £5.50p. Gardens4You are offering it at £11.95p with postal costs of between £2.95p to £5.95p, I would say the lower cost for a single rose. That's a bit of a difference!! I have bought only once from Gardens4You but had no problems and if I remember correctly if was a speedy service.:D

              Helloooooo?
              No busy traffic here today.

Obviously, everyone is out gardening and I'm the only idiot drooling at the sight of last-year roses on the laptop. :WINK1:

One of my nameless red varieties late in November:

Well, my excuse is that I was at work, but I'm glad to be back home as I've got a beauty of a back ache. Anyway, that's a really nice rose, Angelina, reminds me of a rose I've got called "Uncle Walter" although Uncle Walter might be slightly darker.

Anyway, although I an not too fond of pink roses, I tend to like strong bold colours, here's one I bought on impulse last year from Bridgemere Nurseries near Nantwich in Cheshire.

                  It's called Rosemoor:

Nice - I have an old favourite that looks like that called Fragrant Cloud - but with so many different red roses about it's a bit difficult to be sure.

                      :sunny:

The largest Rose bush in the world:)
That picture was made during its blooming period one April.
The rose is a white Lady Banksia variety who's root was sent to America from Scotland in 1885 and planted in the patio area of an inn by two ladies as a token of friendship. A Scottish girl, Mary Gee, came to Tombstone to build a home. Her family sent her a box of shrubs including several rooted shoots of the Lady Banksia Rose. She gave one of those roots to a Mrs. Adamson who owned the home at the time.
