    I read in the paper this morning about her death - so very sad :(
    She was a beautiful woman with an amazing voice, i went to see her in concert once and that voice was incredible - one of the most powerful i've heard.
    RIP.

          Thats a shock Louise, I haven't seen the paper yet so didn't know, I liked her records too and still have an LP !!!! of hers, very sad :(

          Yep a terrible loss of a lovely woman and only 48 years old .. shame thats it's gonna be drugs that are to blame .. same as Michael Jackson Heath Ledger and many more .. even as far back as Elvis .. :(

                It's not often that a singer's voice can have such a effect on me as Whitney's did when I first heard her. For me it was the purest voice, full of life, and while I know she wasn't one, she had the voice of an Angel. She had a voice, for me, that can't be equalled. at least not for another million years. Sad?, very sad?, with that voice?...........no, a real tragedy.

                    Just thinking where was her stupid Agent, even if he/she only thought just keep her alive to make me money, it would have been something.

                      I posted in the MUSIC one and getting hardly any response, I thought: well, she might have gone out of fashion or nobody listens to that kind of music. :scratch:

                      Wasting a talent which mattered for so many people is a crime against humanity.
                      Sad.
                      They will make more money on her now. Brush up the old stuff a bit and sell it.

                      Just heard this ok TV yesterday. Her former Body Guard of 10 years, said he would never leave her alone in the bathroom for more than 7 mins, because he was afraid she would do something. And he never let her use a tub alone. But because she was into drugs, he could not keep her safe from them, so he resigned. She hired "family" to be her body guard, the protocal procedures of watching her was to be in place (so said the former body guard). But guess they were not. Well, "family" your money maker is gone, so you got to live with it.
