I have ordered a few plug plants this year from T & M , due to lots of money off vouchers etc. Also my first choice plug plant supplier - Funky Flora - seem to be no longer trading.
My Sunpatiens arrived on Friday ! A month earlier than other suppliers , and they are top quality. All potted up now and looking good :dbgrtmb:
I just realised , after years of buying plug plants , that the identity label on the front of the blister pack are actually peel off stick on labels !!

Received email from T&M offering 100 perennials for 9.99. Too good to be true? Assuming it's not the first year they do this, I'd be happy to hear from any who took up their offer previous years!

You need to be able to pot them on and nurture them when they arrive to get them to then point where you could plant them out. If you have a brand new border that you want to stock "cheaply" then its probably a good way of doing that, but otherwise you would probably be better off buying plants that you have chosen to fill specific spaces, or for a colour scheme that you want to achieve. IMHO at least !!

My New Guinea Impatiens plugs arrived from T&M today, I wasn't expecting them till the end of the month. They were in perfect condition!!! have never said that before.
They went straight into cell trays and will be in the greenhouse daytime and in the house at night, they need at least 12c to grow well which I can't provide at night.

Hi Strongy , does that mean you normally don't get good condition plugs from T and M  I was well pleased with mine :blue thumb:
Thanks for the 12c tip , so I need to keep them in the house until the end of April at least.

I have only bought 5 plugs at a time before Harry and they were poor quality it never bothered me much as I grew most of what I wanted at work (for the last 30 years!!).
Now I've retired I have to grow and/or buy my own plants!!!!!:thud:
These were as good as I have received from my past trade supplier Ball Colgrave
so for once, I have no complaints other than they were a lot earlier than I expected. They need maximum filtered light so a sunny windowsill is ok if not direct. I seems strange to only grow 36 instead of 3,000 but I don't miss the pressure or deadlines.
