Would have been nice, though, to have all those extra hands not to mention the fact that all of it would have been done the way you wanted it without having to be told!! :heehee:

Can you get him to clone me several times for cleaning the house? Then the real me can go to the allotment, where it will be sunny and warm, get that how I want it in peace and quiet and come home to find the house done properly, dinner made, kids homework done AND the dogs walked with not a harsh word spoken...... :sunny:

I love these photo types, they make for great fun. I took these a few years back when I noticed people out walking started to look strangely similar!

Look a bit weedy - ma just be that they have hated the weather? or perhaps wanted for more Nitrogen when they were growing? Or got cold when young, or are not a suitable variety (i.e. not "short-season" enough) ?

Don't think so, looks like First Early that are now "dying down". If Blight the later rows next to them would have cop'd it too I reckon.

All looking very good. Mine is a disaster this year, and was last year too. Squash have not started growing yet, so they aren't going to do anything. I was spoiled in 2009/10 when they grew massively, 2011 and this they have done Zippo :(

if you look in the first pic with the courgettes you can just see next doors sweetcorn these are mine too ( as in i got the seeds and i started them off we shared them him having half, they were both doing really well then a while back i posted about ideas for a wind break, well this was why his are sheltered behind the metal sheeting mine open to the full wind and through that awful wet and windy weather mine just halted where as his kept growing so def going to change this layout for next season !

HA YES :yay: i love you Kristen i have argued with the boys up the plot over this for weeks i wish you were on my allotment site !!!!!
so dis heartening when this happens but at least if we are all struggling then it isnt something that we have actually done wrong ah well we can just hope for a better year next time
