    Hi,
I have a problem with moss which extends to my tarmac drive. Can anyone suggest a treatment to get rid of it please.
There are a few I've looked at e.g. WeedolMax but i'm worried it will stain the tarmac as I'm told a lot of them do.

    Any advice much appreciated.
    Thanks

Your never going to get rid of it, it will keep coming back every year, get a pressure washer, just a cheap one will do and go over it with that each year, then just the one outlay it will save you ££ in the long run, and you'll have so many uses for it after

Thanks for the reply. I already have one but haven't used it on the moss because I was told pressure washers can break up the tarmac surface.
Not sure about that but maybe I'll give it a go.

Depends on how old it is, or more the condition its in, tar mac is oil based, if it dries out it can get brittle, if it has lost its "oils" then that part of the reason that moss is growing on it in the first place, if you find your taking chunks out of it using the washer, pop down to say keyline Travis perkings and get a 25kg bag of tarmac and just fill the holes back up

Wedol Max will do it, but expensive. Ordinary soda will kill moss or if its just a small area, boiling water will see it off.

Thanks again I'll check that out.
BTW my drive is over 100 metres long so whatever I do there's a lot of it.
