Are T&M like van Meuwen (same company anyway, I think?) every plant you buy comes in a separate box, mailed separately, from Holland - often several arriving in the same post?

I think its outrageous. Catalogue provided in every single box ... and a £40 free wine voucher for a site that didn't work properly ...

Never a shipping list, no idea what has been sent / what is still to arrive / when it might arrive. I haven't to remember to tick every individual box off against a copy of the order - and some things can take 6 months to arrive (not a criticism, the website makes that clear, but it makes it hard to remember what is coming, when, without some sort of shipping list ...)

Sorry ... got off on one there ... I'll let you get back to your potting! hope the plants turn out well :)

I've had plants from Van Meuwen on two or three occasions over the winter and each order arrived ahead of schedule in its own box with clear planting instructions and a list of what was enclosed. I can't remember if they were posted from Holland, I don't think I looked. The plants have all overwintered successfully, so no probs from this end. Oh, I think there might have been a free wine voucher, but it went into recycling (we get our wine from France on regular booze-cruise forays :dbgrtmb:)

I received some more petunias, and was very disappointed with this lot, they looked withered too say the least,it supposed to be 72 red, white & blue ones, but 3 had no plants on,just the soil left in the plug.and the first batch i received was colour coded.
I was hoping to plant these straight into the baskets to grow on,now i had to put them in growing on pots instead until they flower :(

ahhhh the joys of buying plugs on the internet . It is a bit of a lottery. Just received my final geranium plug from Vernon . I got a plug and a geranium , unfortunately they were not connected :gaah: Took a pic and emailed them hopefully will get a new one next week.
I did receive some plugs ordered on Ebay from Orbyplant1 in Skegness , I have put a link in the retail section. These were outstanding plugs really really big and in top condition :dbgrtmb: Photo below is Nemesia blue lagoon and Double Bacopas as they were received on Thursday , and potted on.
