R.H.S. Membership

I haven't found that ... my take is that it has indepth articles on specific things. Recently one on varieties of Wisteria, but there are usually a couple each month. Not everyone is in to Wisteria ... but I found it interesting none the less the incredible length of racemes on some varieties. I certainly won't be buying a Bog Standard one from the local garden centre if I plant one ...

Just saying that by way of example. I don't read any other gardening rag, so don't know how they compare, but I like the indepth articles in The Garden

 

Yep, I am a fully paid up member and have been for over 20 years. The RHS used to a bit stuffy but it has improved in recent years and there are plenty of gardens UK wide which offer free admission to RHS members as well as their own marvellous gardens.

 

Retrospectively, looking thru the mags, there are a lot of gardens to visit

 

check their disabled prices if you have paper work to say that she has a disability ( if she is in a chair most places dont ask for proof) then you would get in free as you are her carer
