Daffodil ID, please

    Back in the autumn I bought a back of 50 mixed tulip and daff bulbs for a fiver from Morrisons. They're starting to open up now. And I've got this really nice daff in there. Can you ID it?

    It's in with another daff that's a bit plainer which you can see in the pot picture. The close up pic is the one I really like. It's multi-headed (2-3 per stem) and the flowers are tiny, about the size of a 50p, pale lemon yellow petals with a darker lemon yellow centre.

      Jonquilla type I expect, possibly Stratosphere, but have a Google for Jonquilla and you should find something similar, at least, if you want to plant some more :)

        Thanks, Kristen. The Jonquilla family looks like the one. I may go for a different one in that family, there's some beauties in there. And looking at the prices of the packs of bulbs having some in my Morrisons mix was a bit of a bargain. :blue thumb:
