My white tulips are out on full show. My blue ones haven't started yet :dunno: I can see heads starting to form at the base so they are on their way :hapydancsmil: My mini daffys have been out for 3 weeks now :ouch1: Got my double headed daffys still to come :yay:

Only CCJ I ever got was for that! Never been refused credit though - it's almost as if CCJ's for poll tax don't count!!

Wadya mean - I'm mid forties and think of myself as a GOM!
Actually, I'm frequently gobsmacked that I've made it this far!

There were six of us! And my Gran who lived on her own was paying more under the poll tax too!

    Back on topic - YAY!!:dancy:
To mark the day my first Hermodactylus bloomed! So it must be true!

So, dont you think its right that a house with say 6 people over the age of 18 all using local sevices should pay more than a house with only 2.

Left a glass of homemade wine out in the garden last last and it was full of wine (fruit) flies this morning - spring has arrived.

Whether there's 6 in the house or 1, the bin still gets emptied at the same frequency.

Its not just about bin emptying.:loll:

Its about all the services provided by your local council.
And even the bin will contain 6 times more rubbish which has to be processed.

I don't think that we would have minded Pete, but
The swimming pool entry fee was almost doubled,
                  Local roads fell into disrepair
They wanted to close a local school for the disabled and mentally handicapped saying there was one in Oxford (13miles ((or 90minutes in the morning rush hour)) away),
The paths in the town centre were crumbling.
On the plus side, there was a nice shiny new council fleet and they got loverly new council offices!!

Any roads, enough of this - Springs here!!:hapydancsmil:

Well I dont know about all that, I suppose thing vastly improved once it became council tax and one person in each house become the sole person responsible for paying up???

I just think once you reach a certain age you should start taking some responsibility, lets face it, a lot of money spent by councils goes on cleaning up after the nightime economy, puke and p i s s brigade, how many of them contribute?

Nope, but strangely they didn't get any worse.

Agreed! But none of that is/was cleared up around here.

                    Anyway - it's spring!!
