Photos on here?

Can anyone tell me how to get photos on here? trying to create an album. My photos are stored in 'my pictures' and when I click 'add image' I have to put in a url? Can anyone shed light on this??? Thanks

 

Marky i opened an acc with Photo Bucket and find it so easy now .. before i had the same problem as you are having.. Photo Bucket is free .. you can make as many different albumns as ya wish or just keep all your fave pics in one and it's very easy to down and up load to this or any other forum ..good luck ..Micky

 

yep as michael says you need to upload them to the web, i upload to me blog then i can post them on here hope this helps

 

Once you've created an album, click on that album, and then click 'Manage images'. That will take you to another page, and on there there is an 'Upload a file' button. Clicking on that will open the file open dialog, and you can then select the photo off your PC. That pic will then be uploaded to your album.

Once the pic is in your album, clicking on the image will take you to it, so you can copy the url from the address bar on your browser and paste it into a post. The old forum software used to give you the BB markup you needed but this one doesn't seem to, so I'm not 100% sure yet on the nicest way to do it but pasting the url as I've just mentioned will work.

TIP: You can also use (as I did in the clip, but you did not see)

Ctrl + c to copy something (You have to highlight it first)

Ctrl + v to paste that which you just copied

Were they not made nearly 2 years ago? The method to upload to them is probably the same, but here the software and icons here have changed, so does that not mean the post needs updating?
