    Hi,
Id appreciate anyone please helping me with identifying this very stinky flower. We were given it at the Ideal home Exhibition and told to leave it out of any soil until it had flowered, then plant it and water it so that it re-flowers.

I have to add, that it smells extremely bad. The smell is very pungent. It smells like very old cheese and we've had to put it where the smell cannot reach the rest of the house! Any help appreciated.

    Thank you.

Excellent, I guessed it was some sort of Lily, thank you.

I must admit to actually gagging when I first took a good sniff, as you do!! YUCK, lol

The leaves or maybe leaf are quite impressive as well.
Not totally hardy I find, but does ok outside in a warm spot.
