    Just to digress from practical tips a bit. These shots were taken in Leuven, 20 km away from Brussels, and can possibly account for the strangest display of local crafswork I've ever seen. :D

    Everything was wrapped and attired in knitwear:

        I think it's called guerilla knitting or "yarn bombing" and I have seen examples such as the following famous one:

          I love knitting and would love to get a knitting group together but not many people do it now. I wish I had time to do some guerilla knitting its harmless fun

          Love knitting do it all the time, I am knitting scarves for the kids lacy floppy ones which they love. and cardies and jumpers for the babies in the family and friends. Its a great passtime

            I wish i knew how to knit, my grandmother tried to teach me when i was small, but we were always on the go with sports, so i never really tried.....looking back now, i wish i had sat still for her lessons.
