You are in the right place, since Holland - as far as I know - is the homeland of flowers...
I've never been there.
I think If I should go over there, I would speak german. I think they would understand me as german and dutch are sister-languages. Aren't they ?

 

Hi Maksim. Yes German is a related language, and many Dutch people understand and speak that language, but to be quite honest, I think you would be better off speaking English when you are here.

Skotcat, I'm not much of an experienced gardener, but keen to learn!
My gardens are very small, even to Dutch standards, but I think they are becoming beautiful. The front garden was renovated in 2010, and the back garden is just starting it's first season. That one is also completely renovated.
A professional design was made for both gardens. I didn't know what to do with the space, and I had so many things on my wish-list. Both my husband Bert and I are very pleased with the result.
I love and am interested in many aspects of gardening, but a few of my favourites are roses, hydrangeas, rhodo's, romantic and woodland gardens.
