Quarry Reserve Frozen

    went to the quarry nature reserve yesterday and was shocked to see most of the pond was all frozen over there was a small water area for the swans, canada geese, ducks and birds never seen this before all of them stuck together in one area, heres pics i took.

    Can you imagine swimming in that water like the ducks and geese? Burrr. Nice pictures though. Keep warm. Rick

    thanks rick, i certainly wouldnt like to swim in there, this guy was out with his 2 dogs and they jumped and ran on the ice i was terrified watching them, the guy put them both on their leads.

    Lovely to see Rosa. Has the ice thawed at all? It is thawing here at last.

    thanks penny and jazmine, not been back up to the reserve but the snow has gone here but dont know whether all that ice on the pond will have gone hope it has for all them birds.
